Since we want to keep the silhouette of the MP5SD, but it doesn't sound suppressed, we can butcher it a bit to have it make sense in that context. My big brain idea is to put holes or grills in the "suppressor" to turn it into a muzzle brake or similar device. For example, here's a Soviet 152 mm gun M1910/30 with a neat muzzle brake that looks the part:
