Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
This can be accomplished easily via versioning the binary path; the downside is that it'll leave old binaries around, however this may be preferable as a back up or for projects that may need to use more than one version.
